The idea of the hexagonal tile arose after legislation in Denmark as per 1st March 2003, demanded that tanks with liquid manure should have a firm cover.

Through intense and extensive research and tests, we now have a product which fulfils all demands to a floating cover of liquids.

The Hexa Cover® system ensures a coverage degree of up to 95 % on tank surfaces.

Natures own shapes have given inspiration to create this six-sided or hexagonal element, which unaided will place itself closely and firmly up to each other. The system resists very strong wind forces and snow and frost have no influence on the efficiency of the cover.

Hexa Cover® now covers more than 20.000 m2 of liquid tank surfaces and many of them have been emptied and refilled up to 4 times and the floating cover re-established itself without problems after emptying.

The hexagonal tiles are produced 100% of recycled material, polypropylene. The expected life time is 25 years. The tiles may after use without any environmental problem be burnt as ordinary waste.
